Charter & Bylaws: Chairman,

Members: Gerald Croom, Andrew Cwalina, Stanley Smith, Quitman White
The purpose of this committee is to review the Bylaws of the SRS Retiree Association Corporation each year, and to develop proposals, if necessary, for revisions to the Bylaws. Proposals that are accepted by the Board of Directors are then presented to the membership for approval at the Annual Meeting.

The Committee then makes sure that the Bylaws are revised to include any such approved changes.

Bylaws were originally adopted at the organizational meeting on September 9, 1997. The bylaws meet both Federal Internal Revenue Service 501(c)(4) regulations for a nonprofit organization and South Carolina corporation codes.

Membership: Chairman, Ed Somers

Members: Samuel Goforth, Robert Stokes
Please encourage your retired WSRC and BSRI friends to join the association at $15.00 per year.  Additional numbers can increase our effectiveness with elected officials and the Savannah River Site.

We believe that it is important for surviving spouses, as well as retirees, to maintain their membership in the SRSRA.  To assist the surviving spouse, the Executive Committee has voted to provide them full membership in the SRSRA at a rate of $5.00 per year.

If a SRSRA retiree passes away, it would be appreciated if someone could advise Ed Somers, Membership Chairman, at P. O. Box 5686, Aiken, SC 29803.
