This is a page from the web site for the retired employees of the Oak Ridge site (K-25, Y-12, and ORNL). They have an excellent presentation of their concerns about pension and health benefits. This page, in particular, discusses the political reasons that this is an uphill battle.

Download searchable versions of SRS Pension Reports

2004 Pension Report (47 pages, 30 MB)

2005 Pension Report (55 pages, 13 MB)

2006 Pension Report (32 pages, 1 MB)

2007 Pension Report (51 pages, 2 MB)
Note: Acrobat Standard 6.0 was used to construct these searchable versions of the original reports. The 2004 and 2005 reports were constructed from scanned images of the report pages which were, themselves, copies of the originals. On some of those report pages, the type appeared blurred. The 2006 and 2007 files were converted to searchable files directly from the pdf files provided by SRS.

Converting scanned images to make a searchable document relies on optical character recognition technology, which, to be effective, needs very clear typefaces. The result is that not all terms may be found during a search of the entire document; that is, a search for a word may miss some occurrences of that word. Still, we hope that adding this feature makes the document much more usable to our members.
